Throw a card at a target within range (you can simply hold onto the card as it activates to choose yourself), it bears the ace of spades. If the creature is willing or fails a Dexterity 13 saving throw it gains a chaotic aura. Until the spell ends, the target's speed is doubled, it gains a +2 bonus to AC, it has advantage on Dexterity saving throws and attack rolls, and it gains an additional action on each of its turns. That action can be used only to take the Attack (one weapon attack only), Dash, Disengage, Hide, or Use an Object action.
When the spell ends, the target can't move or take actions until after its next turn, as the chaotic energy rebounds on the user, dealing 2d8 necrotic damage for each turn the user took advantage of the spell's magic.
At higher levels: For each spell slot above 3rd level used to cast it, the duration of the spell extends by one minute and the damage taken after it ends increases by 2d8 per turn the spell's magic was utilized.
