You imbue one creature you touch with the vulture's prowess of extracting vitality from death. For the duration, the target regains an amount of health equal to 2d6 + your spellcasting ability modifier when a creature within ten feet of them dies.

At higher levels. When you cast this spell with a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you can target one additional creature per slot level above second.
