You use the blood of an evil creature to infuse a non - magical weapon with vampiric ability. The weapon draws upon the life force depleted by its blows to heal the wielder. Undead are immune to the spell. Once a weapon is Vampirically Infused, only the caster is able to effectively wield the weapon. Creatures struck by a weapon effected by the spell must succeed on a Constitution Saving throw, equal to that of the casters spell save DC. On a failure, you are healed (2d6 + 1/4 of the damage dealt, minimum of 1) damage. On a success, you are healed (1d6 + 1) damage. All damage sourced from the infused weapon is automatically converted to necrotic damage.
The weapon used is not consumed, however cannot be infused again for a month, or it will be broken and rendered unusable by necrotic energy.
At 8th, 12th, and 18th level the amount of damage healed increases by 1d6.
