You weave an illusion around an object causing it to look far more mundane, uninteresting, or less valuable. The illusory magic may cause an object to look like a less valuable version of the same object, an older or newer version of the same object, or something more common of a very similar shape. Anyone inspecting the item must succeed on an investigation check matching your spell save DC to determine the real value of the object. Anyone who sees the item as you cast it automatically succeeds. Someone with intimate knowledge of the object may have advantage on the save at the DM's discretion.
At higher levels you can target one more object per level above second. At fourth level or above you can cast this spell on a willing target.
