Your weapons and armor become slick with corrosive acid, hissing quietly as a small amount of steam rises from your form.
Until the spell ends, any melee attack you make deals 2d4 extra acid damage.
If you roll a Natural 20 on a melee attack while this spell is active, the target's AC is reduced by your spell modifier until the start of your next turn.
In addition, you are coated in a defensive layer of acid, and gain resistance to acid damage.
Any creature that has cast or taken damage from this spell is covered in a potent acidic smell. Any creature that makes a scent-based check to track this creature do so with advantage, unless 4 hours have passed, or the creature has washed themselves for 10 minutes.
In addition, any creature that relies upon their sense of smell rather than sight has disadvantage on all checks and attacks against such a creature while within 10 ft.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d4 for every slot level above 3rd; 3d4(4th level), 4d4(5th level), etc.
