Calling on the spirits of warriors past, you summon 3 special figures wearing armour and wielding weapons appropriate to your ancestry. The figures hover close around you, sharing your space.

For the duration, once per turn, you can invoke one of the spirits to carry out one of the effects below. Each time you do so, one of the spirits disappears. The spell ends when all the spirits disappear.

Flank. When you make a melee weapon attack, you can use your reaction to send one of the spirits to flank the target, granting you advantage on melee weapon attacks against that target until the current turn ends.

Opportunity Attack. When an enemy triggers an opportunity attack, you expend one of the spirits to make a melee spell attack instead of a weapon attack. The attack does 3d8 thunder damage on a hit and knocks the target prone.

Sacrifice. When you'd take damage from an attack, you can use your reaction to send one of the spirits to intercept, giving you resistance to all damage from the attack.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this using a slot of 4th or higher, you summon an extra spirit for each slot above 3rd.
