Burning the Pages

This spell enables you to simply touch a written work (such as a book, spellbook, scroll, or even a carved relief filled with words) for a few moments and gain every bit of knowledge that you would have gained from actually reading the entire work, provided the it is written in a language you understand. You are subject to any harmful magic contained in such a written work, automatically triggering such magical traps as a glyph of warding. The spell has no effect when attempting to read certain magical works, such as a manual of bodily health.
