You summon a torrent of razor-sharp blood shards and create a swirling vortex of blood in a sphere. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 12d10 piercing damage and 12d10 necrotic damage. On a successful save, it takes half damage. Additionally, a creature that fails the save is restrained as the blood constricts around it.
At the start of each of your turns, the blood vortex deals 4d10 necrotic damage to each creature restrained by it. A creature restrained by the blood vortex can repeat the initial saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
