Animate Greater Dead

This spell creates a titanic undead servant. Choose a pile of bones, or a corpse of a huge or smaller beast, humanoid, monstrosity, or plant. The spell fails if the creature's challenge rating is higher than half of your level, or if it is a legendary creature. Your spell imbues the target with a foul mimicry of life, raising it as a great undead creature. Being raised this way pains a creature greatly, and creatures raised by this spell try to fight back. If the creature's intelligence score above 8 you must succeed on an intelligence (arcana) check to control the creature, the DC is the creature's intelligence score times 2. If the creature's intelligence score is above 12, you have disadvantage on this check. If you fail this check, the creature resists the spell, and it fails, still consuming the topaz worth 250 gp. When raised successfully the target becomes a husk of what it once was, the creature's statistics remain the same outside of the following changes: -The creature's type changes to undead. -It's armor class now cannot be higher than your level. -The amount of attacks the creature is able to make on it's turn, cannot be higher than half of your proficiency bonus. -The creature cannot cast spells -The creature loses any lair actions it has On each of your turns, you can use a bonus action to mentally command any creature you made with this spell or with the animate dead spell if the creature is within 60 feet of you (if you control multiple creatures, you command any or all of them at the same time, issuing the same command to each one, or one command to two different groups). The creature is under your control for 24 hours, after which it stops obeying any command you've given it. To maintain control of the creature for another 24 hours, you must cast this spell on the creature again before the current 24-hour period ends. At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, you reassert control over one undead creature for each slot level above 6th.
