While speaking an intricate incantation, you cut yourself with the nails of a humanoid corpse that was killed by you, taking 2d4 necrotic damage that can’t be reduced in any way. You then drip your blood on the corpses of 2 or 3 tiny dead creatures, and a darkasher squirmling is formed. Your maximum number of hit points is permanently reduced by the amount of necrotic damage taken, and you cannot regain them until you break the connection and kill your darkasher squirming yourself.
