Choose one creature or loose object that you can see within range. If the target is a creature, it must make a Constitution saving throw against the caster’s spell save DC. If the target is under the effects of a fly spell, this save is made with advantage. On a failed save, the target loses it’s flying speed while this spell remains active. The spell succeeds automatically when the target is an inanimate object. If the target is under the effect of a levitate spell, those effects are temporarily suspended while this spell remains active.

Creatures and objects that are aloft when this spell takes effect immediately fall to the ground taking 1d6 bludgeoning damage for each 10 feet fallen and land prone.

 

When the spell ends, the target regains it’s flying speed but does not automatically return to the height is was at when the spell took effect. If the target is still under the effect of a levitate spell, it rises vertically to its previous height provided there are no obstructions that prevent it from doing so.
