Waterproofing

Touching an inanimate object no larger than 1 square foot, you can make the object entirely waterproof. Water cannot ruin the object in any way and it can suffer no ill effects from ambient moisture. For example, a book thrown into a swamp could be pulled from said bog 100 years later and still look as clean as the day it was tossed in.
