before the creature makes the triggering saving throw, you conjure a long, shimmering shepherd's crook to pull them towards you, potentially out of danger. You pull the target immediately to the nearest space adjacent to you following a straight, direct path. If this moves the creature out of the area of effect, the creature no longer needs to make the saving throw. This movement does not trigger opportunity attacks. Spells or effects that deal damage when a creature enters or moves through an area, such as Spike Growth, still do damage for the forced movement unless it requires a STR, DEX, or CON saving throw, such as Moonbeam, or it ends its movement inside a spell’s an area of effect.
if the targeted creature moves through or into a medium or smaller-sized creature’s space, that creature is pushed 5ft. to the side and makes a DEX save to avoid falling prone. If the nearest adjacent space is occupied by a large or larger creature, the target instead moves to the nearest unoccupied space.
At Higher Levels: If Cast at 4th, 6th, and 8th you increase the spell's range and pull by 10ft. for every two levels above 2nd; 25 ft. at 4th level, 35ft. at 6th level, and 45 ft. at 8th level.
