Your connection to the archive expands your mind. You place your hand on a written text for 1 minute. While your hand remains on the document you magically draw the words into your mind. When the spell is completed you retain the memory of the text as if you had read it in its entirety.
Your memory of the text is so complete that for the 48 hours after completing the spell you can replicate it with perfect accuracy.
You must be able to understand the language the text is written in at the time the spell completes for your mind to retain it.
You cannot use the spell to replicate magical effects or to learn new spells from another spellbook.
You can commit to memory up to 200 pages of a standard text. The more complex the text is the less your mind can retain; writing of complex nature is limited to half of the maximum page limit.
As you reach higher levels the archive expands your mind further and you can retain information from the spell more easily: starting at lvl 2 the maximum number of pages increases by 200. This amouint increases by another 200 every 2 levels thereafter.
