Animate Corpse

This spell creates a temporary undead servant. Choose a pile of bones or a corpse of a Medium or Small humanoid within range. The target becomes a skeleton if you chose bones or a zombie if you chose a corpse (the GM has the creature's game statistics)

You can use a bonus action to mentally command the skeleton or zombie if it is within 60 feet of you.

The creature is under your control until the spell ends, after which it becomes inanimate once more.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the creature gains a +1 bonus to its attack and damage rolls for each slot level above 1st.
