Dark thick ice covers your shield and drains light from around a 10 foot radius around you. If you are in an arctic region then you increase the radius to 30 feet.
The ice provides you with a cold shield that grants you resistance to cold damage. If you have resistance to cold then the next time you take cold damage you have immunity to that one attack.
Any creature that is vulnerable to cold damage take 1d4 damage if they are within 10 feet of you. If cast at higher level, add an extra d4 damage to the shield effect for each level after 4th.
