You summon a wall of cats on the ground at a point you can see within range. The wall is 1 foot thick and is composed of five 10-foot-by-10-foot panels. If the height of the ceiling cannot accommodate a panel's full length, the panel is cut short. Each panel must be contiguous with at least one other panel. The wall lasts for the duration.
If the wall cuts through a creature's space when it appears, the creature within its area is pushed to one side of the wall (its choice) and must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 2d4 slashing damage, or half as much damage on a successful save. A creature must also make this saving throw when it comes within 5 feet of the wall for the first time on its turn or ends its turn there.
If a creature attacks a panel or attempts to breach one, it immediately collapses, triggering an avalanche of cats upon the offending creature. Each creature within a 15-foot-long, 10-foot-wide, and 5-foot-tall line along the ground, originating from the collapsed panel, must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d4 slashing damage, or half as much on a successful save. Any panels on top of the collapsing panel also collapses, increasing the damage by 2d4 for each additional panel that collapses.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the number of panels you create increases by one for each slot level above 3rd.
