Celestial Gateway

You harness the power of the Celestial Sphere, invoking the ancient magic contained within to open a grand gateway to the fabled Dungeon of Infinite Depths.

As you cast this spell, you hold the Celestial Sphere in your hand and speak the incantation. The sphere emits a brilliant radiance, and a shimmering portal materializes before you. The portal takes the form of a massive, arched gateway adorned with intricate celestial symbols.

When the gateway opens, it reveals a floating island suspended in the sky, surrounded by a breathtaking expanse of clouds. The island boasts lush vegetation, cascading waterfalls, and ethereal creatures flitting about. The gateway beckons adventurers to step through and explore the mysterious Dungeon of Infinite Depths that lies within.

You and up to ten willing creatures of your choice can pass through the gateway. Once inside, the adventurers find themselves standing at the entrance of the Dungeon of Infinite Depths. The gateway remains open for the duration of the spell, allowing passage in and out.

The adventurers have 15 days to explore the Dungeon of Infinite Depths, uncover its secrets, and face its challenges. Within the sprawling labyrinth, they will encounter shifting walls, illusionary traps, and formidable guardians. Each chamber offers unique puzzles and treasures waiting to be discovered.

At the end of the 15-day period, the magic sustaining the dungeon begins to wane. The adventurers are forcefully ejected from the dungeon, passing back through the gateway and onto the floating island. The gateway then closes, consuming one charge from the Celestial Sphere.

Once per year, on the summer solstice, the Celestial Sphere automatically recharges, restoring all charges. The sphere absorbs the ambient magical energies of the event, revitalizing its enchantments and resetting its ability to open the gateway to the floating island and the Dungeon of Infinite Depths.

Note: Casting this spell requires a Celestial Sphere as a focus. The Celestial Sphere must be intact and functional, possessing at least one charge.

Using this spell requires great caution and preparation, as the Dungeon of Infinite Depths is a treacherous place. Many have sought its riches and power but never returned. Only the most skilled and daring adventurers should undertake this perilous journey.

This spell is a rare and powerful gift, granting access to a realm of adventure and untold wonders. Legends speak of artifacts and knowledge hidden deep within the dungeon, waiting to be claimed by those brave enough to enter.
