You conjure a bolt of solidified acid that melts inside your target. On a hit, the target takes 2d6 piercing damage. The target must then make a Constitution saving throw or take 2d6 acid damage.

At Higher Levels: When you reach 5th level, the damage increases to 2d6/2d6; at 11th level, 3d6/3d6; at 17th level, 4d6/4d6
