Clevanne's Glittering Blades

You manifest six glittering blades of energy (in the shape of the bladed weapon material component) in your space. They float in the air and orbit you for the spell’s duration. When you cast the spell — and as a bonus action on each of your turns thereafter — you can expend one or two of the blades, sending them streaking toward a target or targets you choose within 120 feet of you. Make a ranged spell attack against the target or targets. On a hit, a target takes 2d10 piercing damage. Hit or miss, the blade then violently shatters. The target and each creature within 5 feet of it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 force damage.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the number of blades created increases by two for each slot level above 3rd.
