You conjure a set of ethereal fangs that extend from your mouth. Make a melee spell attack against a creature you can reach. On a hit, the fangs sink into the target, dealing 3d6 piercing damage. Additionally, you regain hit points equal to half the damage dealt by this spell.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd.
