Walter C. Dornez's Micro-filament Wires

Ultra-sharp and super-thin razor wires, so much so that they can hardly be seen by the naked eye.  They can bind and lacerate, and can even be formed into a shield/barrier.

Choose a creature you can see within range. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be restrained for the duration or until it can succeed of a Strength saving throw or until you release it. While restrained, target takes 3d6 slashing damage + your proficiency modifier.

Alternatively, you can use the micro-filament wires to form a shield which will give you resistance to any slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning damage.
