Effect: The cleric calls upon the divine favor of Berronar Truesilver, the Mother of Safety and Home, becoming her chosen vessel of protection and healing. As the spell is cast, all allies within a 30-foot radius of the cleric are enveloped in a golden radiant light, and their bodies resonate with divine energy.

Benefits:

• Radiant Shield: While under the effect of Berronar's Chosen, each affected ally is shielded by a magical glowing layer of radiant protection. This shield absorbs the next 20 hit points of damage directed at the ally. Once the 20 hit points of this shield are expended, all benefiting effects of the spell are ended.
• Radiant Aura: The golden radiant light surrounding the allies emanates a radiant glow, illuminating the area in a 40-foot radius with bright light.
• Blinding Brilliance: The radiant aura is so intense that it dispels darkness and magical darkness within the illuminated area. Additionally, any creature that looks directly at an affected ally within the 40-foot radius must make a Constitution saving throw against the cleric's spell save DC or be blinded until the start of their next turn.
• Resilience of Light: Berronar's Chosen bolsters the resilience of the cleric's allies. While under the spell's effect, they gain resistance to necrotic and radiant damage.
• Divine Fortitude: Berronar's Chosen grants immunity to being charmed and frightened, instilling unwavering courage and resolve in the cleric's allies, and protecting them from manipulative influences.

Ritual Casting: The cleric can choose to cast Berronar's Chosen as a ritual, allowing them to invoke this powerful blessing without expending a precious spell slot. However, this spell can only be cast once every Restorative Rest, ensuring that its usage is carefully considered and planned.
