You attempt to recollect the lost memories of another creature you can see within range. Upon casting the spell, the creature must make a wisdom saving throw in an attempt to recollect their lost memories. Unwilling creatures have disadvantage on the saving throw.
Memory table
The DC that the target will have to beat will be determined by the memory table which is shown below, which details the source in which the target lost their memories.

Connection Table
Once the DC is set, the target will then make their saving throw. In addition the target will have have there saving throw modified by the caster's spellcasting modifier along with an additional modifier from the connection table, which will vary depending on the connection to the memory that the caster is attempting to recollect.

If the target successfully saves, the caster can regain the lost memories that they were attempting to acquire, which remain permanently after the spell is expended. The target can recall every minute detail of the chosen memory and are unable to forget the memory even if the target is subject to physical trauma or arcane manipulation .
On a failed save the target is unable to recall the chosen memory and the spell cannot be used on them again for the next 3d10 days. If the caster attempts to use the spell on the target before the necessary time, the target takes (3d8+spellcasting modifier) psychic damage.
