You motion towards a point you choose within range to begin the expansion of an acidic lake. From the point chosen, a pool of acid forms on the ground, expanding over time. The ground makes way for its growth, dissolving everything in it’s path. The pool’s radius grows at a rate of 1 foot per minute, up to a maximum of a 480 foot radius if concentrated on for the whole 8 hours. Once the Concentration on the spell has ended, the pool that has been created remains, unaffected by attempts to dispel magic. The acid expands as a hemisphere, and all points in the land that are above the elevation of the point you selected fall into the vat of acid. If a creature or nonmagical object contacts the pool, they must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, they take 3d6 acid damage, or half damage on a success. Targets made of inorganic material such as gems, stone, or metal have disadvantage on this saving throw. If a creature or nonmagical object is entirely submerged within the pool of acid, they take 8d6 acid damage at the start of each turn until the escape the pool.
If damage from this spell kills a creature or destroys an object, their remains are dissolved into the pool formed by this spell.
