A constant beam of the purest acid blasts forth from both your hands in a straight line for 120ft, or in an 45 degree arc for 90ft.
Line: The first target in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a successful throw the creature can choose to move 5ft in any one direction to avoid the beam, taking half damage. On a failed throw, or if there is no room to move out of the path of the beam, the target takes 14d6 acid damage.
If the target of the spell moves out of the way, or its hit points are reduced to 0, then the next creature in line becomes the target of the spell and makes the same saving throw as the initial target. This effect can occur any number of times on a cast.
If a creature's hit points are reduced to 0 while in the path of this spell, their organic matter is reduced into a puddle of acid and bones (non-organic matter such as armor or metal weapons are unaffected). The creature can be restored to life only by means of a spell that restores body parts (e.g. resurrection, true resurrection, reincarnate and wish).
Arc: A 90ft beam of acid shoots forth, starting from the caster and sweeping in 45 degrees in one direction. Each creature who is first from the caster in the arc's path must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 7d6 acid damage; or take half as much on a successful save. Creatures standing behind other creatures or cover are considered obstructed from the beam's arc.
