Causality

You inure the target with a curse of retribution. Track the damage dealt to the target until they are damaged for the 5th time since the spell was cast, ignoring resistances and damage reduction for this count. When they are damaged for the 5th time, the creature which dealt that damage makes a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, they take force damage equal to twice the tracked amount of damage. On a success, they take force damage equal to the tracked amount of damage.
