This shield grants the affected creature 30 temporary hit points, which absorb damage directed at them. When these temporary hit points are expended, all benefiting effects of the spell end.

Blinding Brilliance: The radiant aura is so intense that any creature looking directly at an affected ally within the 40-foot radius must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature is blinded until the start of their next turn.
