You create a tether of blood between objects or creatures 60 feet long. You are able to move along this tether as if it were a tightrope. If either one of the targets of this spell is a creature it must make a constitution saving throw. On a failed saving throw the target is bound to the other target as if by rope and takes 2d6 necrotic damage. On a successful save the target takes half damage and is not bound. A creature bound by this spell may attempt to break the tether by using its action to make a strength check against your spell dc.
If neither of your targets is a creature you take the damage instead.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the initial damage increases by 2d6 for each slot level above 3rd
