Communion

Your magic and offering allow you to attempt to contact your patron directly. Your patron can make a wisdom saving throw to block your attempt at contact. If your patron succeeds the save the material components are consumed, you take 1d8 psychic damage, and your patron is immune to this spell for 24 hours. If your patron fails or is willing your spirit is transported to the plane in which your patron resides and you appear in a spectral form before them. If you are on the same plane as your patron your spirit is transported to their location. You are able to see and hear the immediate surroundings of your patron for the duration. Any creatures in the surrounding area of your patron are able to see and hear your spirit as well. Your spectral form cannot leave a 30 foot radius surrounding your patron and your patron is aware of your presence for the entire duration. Your body remains in the location you cast the spell and you are entirely unaware of your body's surroundings and you can not move or communicate through your body for the duration.  You will automatically fail any saves or checks your body needs to make. You may ask your patron any number of questions or discuss any topic. Your GM is not obligated to reply truthfully. Your spectral form can take damage but is immune to non magical damage. If reduced to zero hit points you will return to your body and make death saves. You are otherwise unable to dismiss this spell and must complete the entire duration.

(Optional): Your patron is also able to summon you this way, but does not require material components. You can make a wisdom saving throw to resist being summoned. If you fail you take 1d8 psychic damage. If you fail or are willing your spirit is summoned in spectral form to your patron and all of the above apply. If you succeed your save you are not summoned, you take 1d8 psychic damage, and are immune to being summoned for 24 hours. Being summoned does not consume a spell slot.
