You summon a transluscent and foggy spirit from you. The intangible spirit appears in a space that is a 5-foot cube you can see within range. The spirit looks like a transparent, ghostly version of you or a humanoid you have seen (your choice).
Until the spell ends, whenever a creature moves into the spirit's space for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, or when the spirit moves through a creature's space they take 1d6 necrotic damage. When you cast the spell and on later turns, you can command the spirit to move up to 20 feet and deal 2d6 necrotic damage to that creature.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you create one extra Spirit for each slot level above 3rd.
