You amplify your voice and let out a scream or shout when you feel pain, directing and focusing it into a 30ft long, 10ft wide line in a direction of your choice. Each creature in the line makes a Constitution save, taking 3d8 thunder damage and is pushed away from you, or half damage on a success and isn't pushed.
Unsecured objects within the spell's area are also pushed the same distance. Regardless of whether a creature passes or fails, it's deafened until the end of its next turn.
This spell's power increases when you're in more pain. If the triggering damage was equal or greater than half your hit point max, or was at least 40 damage, the line is instead 60ft, the distance creatures and objects are pushed by the spell's doubled, and the spell does an extra 1d8 damage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a slot of 4th or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot above 3rd. The damage instead increases by 2d8 per level above 3rd if the triggering damage was equal to or greater than half your hit point max, or was at least 40 damage.
