You perform a short ritual, conjuring a benevolent spirit to provide guardianship to an ally. The first time the target of this spell drops below 10 hit points, they immediately regain 3d6 hit points as the spirit performs its task and then dissipates, ending the spell.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a 5th level spell slot, the duration increases to 8 hours. When you cast this spell using a 7th level spell slot, the duration increases to 1 day.
