*note this spell is inspired from the anime The Rising Of The Shield Hero, I do not own the rights to the show or anything associated with it, this is not a direct copy of what is seen in the anime but is very similar, this spell might seem OP to your DM so ask if you can use it in your gaming sessions before playing. I am also open to suggestions on how this spell can be improved for better or more fair use of it.*
You choose an area within range for a floating invisible barrier to appear and protect you and your allies. It is a solid 10ft structure that can be stood on and cannot be moved after it has been placed, you and your allies have a +5 bonus to AC against ranged attacks when underneath the shield or attacks coming from between you and the shield, you take no damage from x [Tooltip Not Found] where x is the amount of shields you have. You can stack shields on top of one another to gain a stacking bonus of +1 to your AC after the first shield has been placed, to a maximum of +9 to AC. If you move out of range or you are incapacitated the spell ends.
You can add an additional shield and 5ft of range for every 2 spell levels above 1st used to cast this spell.
