You create a ward against magical travel in a 180-foot radius sphere, centered on a point you touch. Any creature that attempts to enter the warded area via teleportation, portal, planar travel, or any other magical means is instantly intercepted and redirected. The target is first transported to an extradimensional void whose darkness is lit only by an endless number of magic missile-like darts suspended in space. The target must make four separate Dexterity saving throws. For each failed save, the target is struck by 1d8 darts, each of which deals 1d4 + 1 force damage.
The target is then expelled from the void to a point 70 feet above the space they previously occupied upon attempting to access the warded area. Unless the target can fly or has some other way to remain aloft, it falls, taking damage from the fall and landing prone on impact.
When you cast the spell, you can designate creatures that won't set off the ward and can safely enter the area by magic.
