Snapping back into lucidity for a brief half second after wasting most of the round, Alf trusts to fate to decide and blasts a glob of the weave from his staff. On a hit (ranged spell attack), the mote does 2d4+1 of a random damage type determined by a d12 on the table below (No psychic damage, that sounds too much like conscious thought).

At Higher Levels. This spell adds 2d4+1 to it's damage at 5th, 11th and 17th Level.
