Pointing your finger at a point you can see on the ground within range, you conjure a small, stormy version of the Yggdrasil. A grey tree, 60 feet tall with a diameter of 5 feet and a canopy of multicolored leaves 30 feet in radius appears at the point, with the base of the tree being at the point. A small drizzle and cracks of lightning come out of the canopy, lightly obscuring the area below.

Any creature of your choice that starts it’s turn below the canopy or enters for the first time must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 3d8 lightning damage on a failed save, or half on a success.

Additionally, any creature you choose that attempts to use movement while under the canopy must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a fail, you choose a different point on the ground under the canopy for that creature to teleport to instead of it moving to where it intended, disappearing into a flurry of leaves and lightning. This does not use any of the creature’s movement. Regardless of the outcome of the saving throw, the creature is immune to this effect until the start of its next turn. 

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the tree gets 30 feet taller and the canopy radius gets 15 feet larger for each spell level above 7th.
