You cause a creature you can see within range to have a sped up or slowed down perception of time. If the target is unwilling, it can make a Wisdom saving throw. On a success, the spell has no effect. When you cast the spell, choose the type of effect it applies from the following options:
Redshift. The target's turn in initiative is set back by two turns. Additionally, the target may not take any reactions until the end of its next turn.
Blueshift. The target's turn in initiative is set forward by two turns. Additionally, the target gains a +2 bonus to AC until the end of its next turn.
These effects last until the current combat's initiative comes to an end. If either of these effects would increase or decrease the target's turn past the top or bottom of initiative, it instead takes its turn first or last on each round respectively.
