Cane's Crashing Thunder Fist 1st-level cantrip (Melee)
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Melee (5 feet)
Components: V, S
Duration: Instantaneous
As you channel your inner power into this electrifying spell, a surge of energy courses through your body. You thrust yourself toward a single enemy, unleashing a devastating Bash/Volt attack.
Attack: You clench your fists in a common battle stance and launch yourself towards your chosen target with incredible speed, making a melee spell attack to strike them. The combination of your physical impact and the potent electrical energy surrounding you creates a powerful offensive maneuver.
Effect: Upon a successful hit, the spell delivers a punishing blow that encompasses both physical and electrical damage. Roll 4d8 for damage at 1st level. However, with each additional level used to cast, the damage intensifies as you channel more power into the strike. For example, at 2nd level, roll 5d8 for damage, at 3rd level, roll 6d8, and so on.
Recoil: The surge of electricity released during the attack can have a backlash effect on you, the caster. If the target survives the initial assault, you must make a constitution saving throw to resist the electrical feedback (D20-armor class). Failure results in you taking a portion of the damage dealt to the target as backlash, reflecting the spell's raw power. Success, however, allows you to minimize the damage, maintaining your composure and control over the volatile energy you wield.
