Vine's Vital Embrace

You cast this spell to summon ethereal vines that burrow into the earth at a point you can see within range. These vines weave a protective web, connecting you to the earth's life force. Whenever a creature within 30 feet of the vines, including you, takes damage from any action you perform (spells, weapon attacks, etc.), the damage is converted into an equal amount of hit points, which are then immediately restored to your own hit points.

The total hit points healed through Vine's Vital Embrace cannot exceed the total damage dealt by your actions while the spell is active. If the healing would exceed your maximum hit points, any excess healing is lost.

The vines remain in place until the spell's duration ends or until you dismiss them as a bonus action. The vines can also be destroyed if they take damage equal to 10 + your druid level, breaking the connection.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the range increases by 10 feet for each slot level above 1st
