You cause one creature you touch to begin hearing music. If the target creature is unwilling, make a melee spell attack against them. If it lands, they suffer no damage but are subjected to the spell's effects.
The music's type is decided by you, and its volume magically adjusts itself so that it's always loud enough to be clearly audible, but not loud enough to drown out any other sounds. This music is telepathic and as such it can be heard even in areas that have been magically silenced, however any creature under the effects of the mind blank spell is immune to this spell's effects.
You can choose to end the spell at any time (no action required). Alternatively, an affected creature can choose to make a charisma saving throw at the end of their turns, ending the spell on a success. You can only affect one creature at a time with this spell.

The number of creatures you can affect simultaneously with this spell increases to 2 at 5th level, 3 at 11th level and 4 at 17th level.
