“Many hands make light work, and I’m not one to exert myself.”

 - Summer Fleet, Healer/Magic Item Smith

A large gash opens on your back, and arms form from the blood inside at your beck and call. Upon casting this spell, you take 2d12 Necrotic damage that cannot be avoided or reduced by any means. Afterwards, blood rises out from your back in 4 distinct tendrils, which then form into arms identical to your own. These arms are just as dexterous and powerful as your own, and follow your every command without fail.

For each set of two arms that this spell creates, the caster can perform an extra task or tasks that require two free hands. For example, wielding two 2-handed weapons, using a shield and a two-handed weapon, ignoring the loading property of a ranged weapon, etc. This spell also provides an extra melee attack as if one had the Extra Attack feature for each set of arms, but only if the set of arms is holding a weapon. Additionally, the arms grant you a swimming speed and a climbing speed equal to your walking speed.

The arms do not allow you to equip more than one shield, nor do they give you more than one action per turn. Anything the arms are holding when the spell ends is dropped to the ground.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the number of arms created increases by two per spell level above 3rd. This will increase the swimming speed and climbing speed they provide by 10 feet per set, as well as providing another set of actions. However, the necrotic damage taken also increases by 1d12 for every 2 levels above 3rd.
