“Guh. I don’t think I can ever get used to that.”

 - Adventurer who previously worked with Ava Allblood

Taking the ball of silk in your hands and holding it out, you watch it unravel and twist into strange shapes. Choose a target you can see within range. If the target is willing, you can change up to four parts of their body into those of a different creature. These modified limbs blend cleanly into the target’s body, and are at a size relative to the body. For example, one could give a target two frog legs, a snake head, and a scorpion tail. They also follow nearly the same rules for challenge rating as Polymorph. If the target is unwilling, they must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be forcibly transformed. A shapechanger automatically succeeds on this saving throw.

The transformation caused by this spell does not dissipate when enough damage has been taken like Polymorph does; instead, if the transformation was willing, one transformation can be ended at will as a bonus action by the target. If they were transformed unwillingly, they must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC at the start of their turn to end one effect. It is recommended that you discuss the mechanical function of the transformations you cause with your DM. The nature of the transformations cannot be directly harmful, such as giving the target gills on land; however, they can be indirectly harmful, such as replacing their legs with a fish’s tail. The DM can decide if a chosen transformation is dexterous enough to perform tasks such as wielding weapons or casting spells.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the number of body parts you can affect increases by one for each spell slot above 5th level.
