You create a whirling ring of energy and send it charging forward. The wheel travels in a 20-foot long and 5-foot wide line away from you in a direction of your choosing. Each creature in the line takes 1d8 slashing damage and must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save a creature is dragged to the square of the line furthest away from you, taking 1d6 slashing damage for every 5 feet moved. All creatures that failed their saving throw are then harmlesly deposited in an unocupied space as close to the final square as possible.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the initial damage increases by 1d8 and the length of the line increases by 5 feet for each slot level above 2nd.
