You wave your hand through the air, channeling miniature ripples of air from each finger to slice your enemy. If you have two hands free, you can attack with this spell twice, and can target up to two creatures. Make a spell attack roll against each target. If the targets of this spell are within melee range of you, this spell can be treated as a melee spell attack. On a hit, the targets take 2d4 slashing damage, as you lash out a flurry of sharp cuts from the air. If you manage to roll a critical hit, the target takes an additional 1d4 slashing damage at the end of their next turn, as the roar of wind torrents and batters them.
If you use this spell in melee range, you can channel it through your hands or a weapon you are holding as a material component. Doing so allows you to apply the effects of your weapon or unarmed strikes when you hit a target.
This spell's damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level ([roll]3d4[/roll]), 11th level ([roll]4d4[/roll]), and 17th level ([roll]5d4[/roll]). The damage this spell inflicts at the end of the targets' turns due to a critical hit is also increased by the same amount (5th level [roll]2d4[/roll], 11th level [roll]3d4[/roll], and 17th level [roll]4d4[/roll]).
