Anachronism

Breaking a frail bone or twig, your eyes open to the world around you. Performed by novice spellcasters and great mages alike, this spell can be used to perceive history.

When cast, the caster specifies what creature they wish to see (i.e. A forgotten librarian or long-deceased mayor) and sees a moment that the specified creature's life in the area they are in. If the caster wanted to see a forgotten librarian in their library, the caster must be in said library. Events that are perceived by the caster are completely up to the DM's discretion and cannot be changed or altered in any way, shape, or form by the caster.

Once cast, the caster cannot cast this spell about the same person until they take a long rest.
