This does 3d6 piercing damage plus your spellcasting ability modifier. It also does 2d6 force damage. On successful save, take half as much damage as you originally would. On save fail, take all damage from the spell.

At higher levels, each time you cast at a higher level you can target one more creature and it does 1d6 more force damage.
