You conjure a single-story cottage made of wood on a sufficiently flat stretch of ground within range. The cottage is 30 feet on each side, and has a ceiling 10 feet high. The cottage comes equipped with as many or as few of the following amenities as the caster chooses:
- A single bed, large enough for two medium creatures, equipped with sheets, a blanket, two pillows, and a folding privacy screen.
- A kitchenette with pots, pans, mugs, utensils, six place settings, and a faucet that can produce up to 5 gallons of cool, clean water before running dry. The kitchenette is not stocked with food.
- A dining table and six matching small wooden stools.
- A chandelier that fills the interior with candlelight.
- A padded lounging chair with a small side table.
- A functional fireplace and chimney, and enough firewood to last for 8 hours.
- A small 5 foot by 5 foot water closet with a locking door.
- Up to three small windows and a large wooden door, each of which is equipped with a simple latch. These latches can be damaged normally or picked with a successful DC15 Lockpicking check. The door has an AC of 15 and 25 hit points.
The interior of the cottage is warm and dry. Not including the bed, the cottage has enough space to comfortably sleep up to twelve medium creatures, and uncomfortably sleep up to twenty-four. Any equipment or furnishings conjured by the spell that leave the interior of the cottage vanish in a puff of smoke. At the end of the spell’s duration, all creatures and objects within the cottage that were not created by the spell are harmlessly spat out the front door onto the ground, and all traces of the cottage and its furnishings disappear with a small popping sound.
You can cast this spell again while it is active to maintain the cottage's existence for another 24 hours. You can create a permanent cottage by casting this spell in the same location and with the same configuration every day for one year.
At Higher Levels. The cottage gains additional amenities when cast at higher levels:
5th level: The kitchenette comes stocked with enough foodstuffs to sustain up to twelve humanoids for 24 hours, and the faucet produces up to 30 gallons of water. The cottage is home to four Tiny Servants who behave as if created by that spell, except that they last for 24 hours. The servants take on whatever form you choose, but they must be Tiny and adhere to the stats in the spell. If they leave the inside of the cottage, they vanish in a puff of smoke and harmlessly reappear inside of it one minute later. The DC to pick a lock on the windows and doors increases to 20, and the doors now have an AC of 17 and 45 hit points.
7th level: The cottage is now home to eight Tiny Servants. The cottage now features a workbench amenable to one artisan's tool of the caster's choice. The DC to pick a lock on the windows and doors increases to 25, and the doors now have an AC of 19 and 55 hit points.
9th level: The cottage increases in size to a two-story building with an area of 50 feet by 50 feet. The upstairs is equipped with six bedrooms and a fully functional arcane laboratory, all equipped with a locking window and door. Each bedroom contains a desk, chair, nightstand, oil lamp, and a bed large enough to sleep three medium sized creatures. All locks on the doors and windows created by the spell now require a successful DC30 check to pick.
