Aquila's Claw

Call down unrefined wrath of the Crimson Eagle. You channel Aquila's wrath over your body and direct it towards a target that you can see within range. A beam of wrathful energy lashes out from your finger to that target. Target takes an initial 8d10 force damage as it's structure is forced to be ripped inside-out. If a creature is killed by this portion of the spell, it is turned to ash.

After the initial damage, if the target is a living creature, it must succeed a constitution saving throw against your spellsave DC or take 6d10 necrotic damage or half as much on a successful one as their nervous system is overloaded with energy. If the target is killed by this portion of the spell, it's internal organs are ripped apart and nervous system is burnt.

After that, if the target has an intelligence score above 5, they must succeed a wisdom saving throw or take 6d10 psychic damage or half as much on a successful one as they see the Crimson Eagle's true form within their minds.

A creature killed by any portion of this spell cannot be resurrected by anything short of a true resurrection or wish.

AT HIGHER LEVELS: If cast by using a 9th level spell slot, initial damage is increased to 10d10 and if the target fails both of its consequent saving throws, it is killed by the psychic damage portion of this spell regardless of its hit points remaining.
