You have the ability to manipulate the organic matter within a corpse to cause a rapid growth of bacteria. This results in the bloating and subsequent explosion of the body.

You can cause a dead body that you can see to explode. Any creature within 5 feet of the corpse must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or be dealt 1d6 bludgeoning damage and 1d4 poison damage + your spellcasting modifier.

If cast at level 3 or higher, you may add a delay to the explosion for up to 3 turns. If the body is punctured within that time, the spell fails.

If cast at level 4 or higher, you may target an additional corpse for each level beyond level 3. All bodies within 5 feet of each other that are targeted will add an additional 5 feet of affected area, and an additional 1d6 bludgeoning damage, in addition to the 1d6 bludgeoning and 1d4 poison damage + your spellcasting modifier dealt by each individual corpse.

Example: 1 corpse will deal 1d6 bludgeoning and 1d4 poison damage + your spellcasting modifier to all creatures within 5 feet who fail a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw.

2 corpses in 5 ft proximity will deal 3d6 bludgeoning and 1d4 poison damage + your spellcasting modifier to all creatures with 10 feet who fail a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw.

3 corpses in 5 ft proximity will deal 5d6 bludgeoning and 1d4 poison damage + your spellcasting modifier to all creatures within 15 feet who fail a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw.

And so on.
